SHAVOO'OT, Chag Ha'Bikoorim, Cha

Ten commandments are The Rulles Jewish people live by for over 3,000 years.

G-D gave the Jewish people the Ten-Commandments which are Laws or Rulls we live by (a guide).

These laws are very important to the Human race not only the Hebrews, (The Jewish people).

The laws are celebrated the day The Commandments were given to Mosses on Mt. Sinai

We call the Holiday "Shavoo-ot".

We celebrate Shavoo-ot on May 25th in the evening and the 10 commandments are read in synagogue which we decorate with Flowers and Fruits. (on May 26th and 27th,2004.)

This is the time We Harvest the Fruits of the earth and Thank G-d for the Rains and Good weather for harvesting.

Since the Torah gioves us nourishment , to our spirit, is often likened to milk and honey, dairy foods such as blintzes, cheesecake and fruits.
