Thanksgiving--- YOM--Ha-HODAYA
Thanksgiving, an American feast resembling the Jewish Harvest holiday of SUKKOT.
We give Thanks to our G-D for all he did and does, the Rain, The Sun as well as our health to work the land so we can harvest the fruits of the land.
The Pilgreems (Halutziem in Hebrew) are among the first settlers that had arrived to work the Land and make the make a safe home for their families,
together with the original settlers, The native Indians. Facing the hardship of Life, Illnesses, Weather and Hate and discrimination of people.
We remember those times by celebrating Thanksgiving by having a Feast Meal every year with FAMILY, FRIENDS around the festive table and original native American foods on the table.

This Holiday is also passed from Generation to Generation, as we do on Pessach!
