Preheat the oven to 350o F.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs until frothy. Continue mixing as you add the sugar, oil, baking powder, honey, then the rest of the ingredients except for a few tablespoons of the almonds.
Pour the batter into greased 9" x 9" inch pan. Gently sprinkle the reserved almonds on top of the batter.
Bake in a 350o F oven for 45 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the center of the cake comes out dry.
