Bake at 350 for 30-35 min. (until golden brown).
Mix: Sugar , Salt, Oil and Hot-Water in a large bowl until dissolved.
Dissolve the Yeast in the hot water (110 degrees)
Add Eggs,
4 ½ lbs. Flour and Raisons.
Knead for 5 minutes
Add the rest od the Flour (1/2 lbs.)
Grease a Large bowl,
add the Dough,
cover with a clean Towel and let it rise,
double its size, takes about 1 ½ hours.
After dough has risen put onto a floured board and punch it down
, knead and bread the dough in a round shape
BREADS; make 3 rope like strandes and braid ///
pinch the 3 strands together at the top,
the right strande into middle the left strande on top fallowing by the last strande to the left and repeat procedure until all the strandes are breaded.
Let the Chalot rise again ,
Brush with glaze
